A Message from LeMieux Associates

Dear Clients and Friends,

We hope this finds you healthy and well during this unprecedented time. None of us could have predicted just weeks ago that our world would be in such a state of unknown. As we navigate this new environment, we try to seek out ways to find solace in the simpler state of each day as we honor the Shelter-in-Place (SIP) mandate. It is important to take care of our minds and physical wellbeing and we send you our best during this time. We are here to answer your questions, discuss the market and provide advice in any way we can. We continue to practice a positive mental attitude and believe that one day – hopefully soon – our lives will resemble something that feels like normal again.

The real estate market has been evolving daily as the industry continues to assess the situation and set guidelines accordingly. The latest update is that as real estate professionals, we are considered “essential services” per the California guidelines. This means that we are allowed to list properties and show homes to interested parties provided all involved are comfortable with doing so and safe practices are followed.

The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) has temporarily cancelled open houses and realtor tours. For active listings, the MLS is assisting sellers by suspending the “days on market” count until the SIP is lifted. We are providing a full suite of “Virtual Agent Services” to our clients with homes currently on the market. This includes virtual tours, interactive video showings, digital listing brochures with floor plans and site maps, email campaigns and enhanced 3D staging which allows prospective buyers to explore a property without leaving their home.

Since the initiation of the SIP, we have closed one escrow and represented a buyer on a home that became available after a previous buyer cancelled their contract due to the stock market fluctuations. We are continuing with home preparation on our upcoming listings which are vacant and unoccupied with the goal to begin marketing these homes once the SIP is lifted. Below are a few of the properties we will be offering for sale. If you would like further information for yourself or anyone you know who is looking to buy, please contact us and we are happy to share more details.

As your trusted real estate professionals, we will continue to track market trends and conditions to keep you informed as this situation evolves. Please reach out to us with any questions as we are happy to help in any way we can.
